And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.
만 이 년 후에 바로가 꿈을 꾼즉 그가 나일 강 가에 서 있는데

And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured kine and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.
보니 아름답고 살진 일곱 암소가 강에서 올라와 갈밭에서 뜯어먹고

And, behold, seven other kine came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the other kine upon the brink of the river.
그 뒤에 또 흉하고 파리한 다른 일곱 암소가 강에서 올라와 그 소와 함께 나일 강 가에 서 있더니

And the ill favoured and leanfleshed kine did eat up the seven well favoured and fat kine. So Pharaoh awoke.

And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of corn came up upon one stalk, rank and good.

The seven good kine are seven years; and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.
일곱 좋은 암소는 칠 년이요 일곱 좋은 이삭도 칠 년이니 그 꿈은 하나라

And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.
그 후에 올라온 파리하고 흉한 일곱 소는 칠 년이요 동풍에 말라 속이 빈 일곱 이삭도 일곱 해 흉년이니

Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt: And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;
온 애굽 땅에 일곱 해 큰 풍년이 있겠고 후에 일곱 해 흉년이 들므로 애굽 땅에서 그 풍년을 다 잊어버리게 되고 이 땅이 그 기근으로 망하리니

Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.
이제 바로께서는 명철하고 지혜 있는 사람을 택하여 애굽 땅을 다스리게 하시고

Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.
바로께서는 이같이 하여 나라 안에 관리들을 세우시고 풍년의 칠 년 동안 애굽 땅의 오분의 일을 거두되

And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants. And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
바로와 그의 모든 신하가 이 일을 좋게 여긴지라 바로가 그 신하들에게 이르되, 이와 같이 하나님의 영에 감동된 사람을 우리가 어찌 찾을 수 있으리요

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.
바로가 요셉에게 이르되, 하나님이 이 모든 것을 네게 보이셨으니 너와 같이 명철하고 지혜 있는 자가 없도다 너는 내 집을 다스리라 내 백성이 다 네 명령에 복종하리니 오직 왕좌만은 내가 너보다 높으리라

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.
그의 이름을 사브낫바네아라 하고 온의 제사장 보디베라의 딸 아스낫을 그에게 주어 아내로 삼게 하니라 요셉이 나가 애굽 온 땅을 순찰하니라

And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls. And he gathered up all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities.

And Joseph gathered corn as the sand of the sea, very much, until he left numbering; for it was without number.
바다 모래같이 심히 많은 곡식을 저축하기를 마지아니하니 그 수를 셀 수 없음이었더라

And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came... And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.

And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended. And the seven years of dearth began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the dearth was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn; because that the famine was sore in all lands.
